Beef Roast - from frozen state
(This is my favorite roast recipe - very tender!)
Beef Roast
Salt
Pepper
Pot Roast Seasoning packet (optional)
(I like to use McCormick's Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast seasoning packet.)
Onion - sliced into rings (optional)
Carrots - sliced(optional)
Potatoes - cubed (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°.
Put some water in the roasting pan - enough to cover the bottom. (You'll need to use more water if you're adding vegetables to the pan.)
Place frozen roast in roasting pan.
Add the cut-up vegetables around the roast. (optional)
Sprinkle salt and pepper on top - or use a packet of slow cooker seasoning.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes - or until the top is brown.
Reduce heat to 300°.
Cover and cook for 4 hours, checking it periodically.
