Chocolate Bundt Cake

1 Devils Food boxed cake mix
1 instant chocolate pudding mix (3.4 oz.)
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
½ cup warm water
⅓ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup chocolate syrup
1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Frosting: Cream cheese frosting of choice (optional)

Preheat oven to 325°.

Mix all ingredients, except chocolate chips, together and stir by hand until well mixed.
Add in chips and mix just until evenly dispersed.

Pour into well greased bundt cake pan. Bake for 48-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out slightly coated, but not wet.

Remove from oven and let stand in pan for 20 minutes. Invert onto plate or cake stand.

If frosting the cake:
Allow the cake to cool first.
Warm the frosting and pour over cake like a glaze.
